  1. Special presentations for PhilHealth officials
    • Preliminary results of the PhilHealth Prepaid Premium (3P) Study in a meeting of the PhilHealth Executive Committee (including the then PhilHealth President Ray B. Aquino, and senior executives) on 2 August 2011 in PhilHealth Head Office in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
    • Final results of the 3P Study, Coping and consumption adjustment for similar shocks over time, and PhilHealth Benefit Delivery Rate 2012) in a public seminar at the University of the Philippines School of Economics on 27 September 2013. The participants included more than 25 officials from PhilHealth (including 4 Vice Presidents) and the Department of Health.

    • Paper presentation (The effects of term limits and yardstick competition on local government provision of health insurance and other public services: The Philippine case) in the 13th National Health Research Forum for  Action held on 19 November 2012 in Pan Pacific Hotel, Manila.
    • Presentation of 3 HEFPA papers (3P Study, Coping and consumption adjustment for similar shocks over time, and PhilHealth Benefit Delivery Rate) in a plenary session of the14th National Health Research Forum for Action held on 17 October 2013 in Diamond Hotel, Manila. The discussants in this session were former Secretary of Health Manuel Dayrit and EU-Philippines task officer Ms. Diana van Daele.

    • Seminar presentation (The poor, the politician and the political indigents: The case of PhilHealth Sponsored Program) in the Friday Seminar Series organized by the University of the Philippine School of Economics and the Philippine Center for Economic Development held on 18 March 2011 at the PCED Building, UP Campus, Diliman, Quezon City.
    • Paper presentation (The 3P study: A randomized experiment to assess the impact of premium subsidies and insurance information on the enrolment of the informal sector in PhilHealth) during the 1st Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Network Forum organized by the National Economic and Development Authority (government economic planning agency) and UNICEF held on 7-8 November 2011 in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
    • Paper presentation (Shocks to Philippine households, and PhilHealth Benefit Delivery Rate 2012) during the Forum on Shocks, Traps, and Nets: Pressing Needs and Present Seeds of Social Protection organized by UNICEF, the National Economic and Development Authority and the Philippine Center for Economic Development held on 15 April 2013 in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Mandaluyong City. The discussants in our sessions were Secretary of Health Enrique Ona, Secretary of Social Welfare and Development Corazon Juliano-Soliman, Secretary of Labor Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz and Secretary of Economic Planning Arsenio Balisacan.
    • Paper presentation (How much protection does PhilHealth provide Filipinos against health shocks?) in the Learning Session on Public Health organized by the Department of Budget and Management’s held on 10 May 2013 at the Department of Budget and Management Main Office, Manila.
    • Paper presentation of the Shock to Philippine Households paper in a regular session, and of the 3P Study, Coping and consumption adjustment for similar shocks over time, and PhilHealth Benefit Delivery Rate 2012 papers ins a special UPecon-HEFPA session during the 51st Annual Conference of the Philippine Economic Society organized by the Philippine Economic Society held on 15 November 2013 in Hotel Intercontinental Manila, Makati City.
