On December 12, 2018, The team presented the follow-up survey results in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. The profile and distribution of CVD risk factors (age, gender, smoking status, BMI, blood pressure) and 10-year CVD Globorisk scores, knowledge of CVD risk factors, and health-seeking behavior by wealth quintile and urbanity from the follow-up survey were compared with those obtained in the baseline.
The event was attended by more than 60 municipal and city health officials. Besides affirming some of the baseline results, the audience also expressed interest in the outcome of the interventions.
